Join National Trust member Gordon Stokes in a walking tour of central Portland. Gordon, using examples of stone structures, including walls, gutters and buildings will interpret the construction methods and techniques used by 19 Century stone cutters and stone masons and also discuss conservation methods recommended to maintain Portland’s bluestone structures for present and future generations to enjoy.
